There are 38 different sections in Rayburn Country Association (RCA), offering a variety of lot sizes and types of homes. Whether you are looking for a grand lake house, a comfortable cabin, a mobile home, or a condo, there is a section that is right for you!
Sections 7, 7a, 8-17, 21, 22, 30-36, 38, aka “The Coves” including the section platted as “Dishon’s Plantation,” E-2, E-3, E-4, E-5 and MH-1 (aka Audubon Hills), “The Point” Phases 1 and 2, and some (but not all) of the condominiums and townhouses are part of RCA.
Sections to the West of Hwy 1007 offer many lakefront or lakeview lots, while sections East of 1007 and North of 255 allow resort amenity access without crossing a busy highway. Some sections remain largely undeveloped, and roads without any homes built may not yet be passable. We are committed to making roads passable roads as permits are granted for building.
Most sections have water and sewer provided by the Rayburn Country Municipal Utility District (MUD), but some will require the installation of a septic and/or well.
The minimum square footage living space for a new home varies by section, and mobile homes are only allowed in sections MH-1, E-3, and E-4.
Please consult the Sections Chart, which was designed to answer basic questions and help you compare sections if you are considering buying or building. The Building in RCA page has a wealth of information about building in the community, the permit process, and links to other relevant agencies.
Condominiums, some of which are a townhome style design, have their own additional board of directions and monthly assessments in addition to the annual RCA assessments.
RCA does not show or sell lots; please work with a local real estate agent if you are buying a home or lot within RCA.
NOTE: Sections 1 – 6 of Rayburn Country are not part of the Rayburn Country Association (RCA); they are part of Rayburn Village, aka Rayburn Country Improvement Association (RCIA). We are not able to answer questions about RCIA sections.
