Roads in Rayburn Country

RCA is responsible for over 25 miles of roads, most of them were left in poor condition by past developers. The association is doing all it can to make and keep all roads in a safe and passable condition including investing in road maintenance equipment and improving drainage along roads as funds allow. Scroll down for information about submitting a repair request and more information.

Submitting a road repair request

If your road needs repair, there are three ways to submit a request:

  • Directly through the Homeowner Portal. You will need to set up a portal login if you have not done so already. To set up a login you will need your account number and the email on file in our system.
  • Email rayburncountryassociation61@gmail.com Pictures are very helpful!
  • Phone 409.698.4201.

Some roads in RCA are maintained by Jasper County. The on-site manager will provide you with the name and phone number of the County Commissioner if the road you are concerned about is a county road. Roads to the West of 1007 are in District 1; roads to the East of 1007 are in District 2.

Will the roads ever be paved?

We do not foresee paving roads maintained by RCA; the current funding levels require that we first focus on making and keeping all dirt roads passable. If you are interested in having your road dirt road paved, please note that there is a Road Cost Sharing Policy under which RCA may help you off-set a small portion of that cost (typically not more than 10%). All cost sharing requests are taken on a case-by-case basis.
