Next RCA Board Meeting

The Board of Directors will meet on Monday, April 22nd at 4:00pm in the Rayburn Resort restaurant. They will meet at 4:00 pm to convene in Executive Session and will reconvene at 6:00 in Open Session. You can attend in person or via Zoom. All RCA members with an email address on file receive meeting announcements and Zoom links at least six days in advance of each meeting.

If you have not received emails from us about the board meetings or other events and you are a property owner in RCA, please contact the management company at 832.433.7995 to get your email added to the records.

Annual Assessments Due

Annual Assessments are due July 1st and late if not received by the Management Company by July 30th. If you are paying by check, in person, please come to the office by 4pm on Friday, July 29th. All checks received at the RCA office will be mailed via USPS to the main office in Houston.

The safest way to pay dues is online using the information received with your statement and cover letter. If you need assistance paying online, or if you did not receive an assessment mailing, please call Lone Star Bookkeepers at 832.433.7995.

Please note that the deed restrictions require RCA to charge a fee to each lot. While you may not have been charged for each lot in the past, you will be charged for each lot unless you requested and received a lot consolidation approval letter from the board by May 1st. If the letter indicated that you must file your consolidation with Jasper County, you must have filed that and returned the filing paperwork by May 1st. Your tax bills for multiple lots may be combined by Jasper County, but that does not indicate that your lots are consolidated for RCA purposes.

We do not accept cash or credit cards at the RCA office. You may pay online with a credit card, however the bank will charge a convenience fee that will be added to the charges. Credit card and Debit card payments take extra time to process and should be made online no later than July 25th to ensure that they are posted to the RCA records by July 30th. There is no extra charge for online payments made using your bank account number, and those payments will be appear in our system in 1-2 business days. We strongly encourage you to pay online using bank draft.

Building on the Rise at Rayburn

Over 60 building permits requests have been received between July 1, 2022 and February 28, 2023; 27 were for new residences. The Environmental Control Committee (ECC) has been busy!

In an effort to get more information out to potential buyers, builders, and existing homeowners, the RCA adopted the Building Permit Process Guidelines to work on clarifying the application process and guidelines for building in RCA.

The ECC consists of property owners who have been appointed by the board. They review applications on a monthly basis with an eye to ensuring that all improvements will have a positive effect on property values within the community.
