The Board of Directors & Committees

Most decisions are made on behalf of the community by an elected Board of Directors at their regular, open, meetings. Building permit requests are handled by the Environmental Control Committee. The board has hired a management company and an on-site manager to handle day-to-day tasks. The board also appoints sub-committees or ad-hoc committees to handle specific tasks. A Board of Homeowner Volunteers

The Board of Directors are property owners like you! They meet every other month to conduct regular RCA business and may also call special meetings of the board. All meetings to conduct board business are announced on this site and via email to those members with an email on file. Though not required, we usually include an agenda with the email announcement, and a Zoom link is also included for those who wish to attend remotely. To have your email added to our records, please email us including your property address or section and lot number.

Board Meetings

Property owners are encouraged to attend the board meetings to keep abreast of issues facing the community and the board’s work to foster neighborhood spirit and enhance property values. Although the general membership does not vote on board business, time is given for members to make public comments at each meeting prior to the board discussing and voting on their agenda items. We welcome suggestions, questions, or complaints of a general nature (i.e.: not about your specific account, rules violation, or the violation of another lot owner) during the homeowner forum portion of the meeting. Please keep your comments to 2-3 minutes or less.

The Environmental Control Committee (ECC)

The ECC meets monthly to review building permit applications and the progress being made on open permits. This committee is made up of property owners who serve on a volunteer basis and are appointed to the committee by the board. Their meetings are not open to the general public in order to keep individual property owner information private. If you have general questions about building in RCA, the on-site manager can usually answer them. We do not give out the contact information for ECC members in order to protect their time and privacy.

The Amenities Committee

Three board members serve on the Amenities Committee and meet with the Rayburn Resort owner regularly to discuss amenities improvements, events, and property owner concerns. If you have a concern or suggestion for the Amenities Committee, please email it to the on-site manager or community manager so they can forward it to the committee members.

REGULAR BOARD MEETINGS
take place on the 4th Mondays of odd numbered months at 6:00pm at the Rayburn Country Resort Restaurant.

Members with a valid email receive an email with the Zoom link and agenda approximately one week prior to each board meeting. If you are an owner who has not received meeting emails please contact the community manager to update your email with the office.
